Monique Rosszell AACI, RICS, ISHC, is the Senior Managing Director of the Toronto and Montreal offices of HVS.
Upon attaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Queen’s University, she fell in love with the hotel industry in Japan and subsequently enrolled in the Master’s program in Hotel and Restaurant Management at the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne. After numerous years in hotel operations, her hotel passion in turn led her to attaining both her AACI and her MRICS appraisal designations in Canada.

Monique has been working in the hotel industry for almost 30 years and has completed thousands of valuations and feasibility studies, including transaction and portfolio valuations including numerous waterparks throughout Canada and the USA. She also offers hoteliers and developers brand search and contract negotiation support. Given her fluency in Japanese and French, she has a strong presence in the Province of Quebec. She also offers litigation and expert witness support, speaks at numerous annual industry conferences, and is a well respected and trusted advisor within the lodging industry in Central and Eastern Canada.
